JOB PROFILE

I am an Ex-Army officer, having served as commissioned officer (Major) for 8 years in Indian Army, during my tenure in Army, I have worked at different appointments as Company Commander, Adjutant, Quartermaster, Signal Officer etc., which gave me exposure to different fields of works in Man Management, Logistics, Administration & Training of 1000 men. I have served in LOC and International Border Environment locations including Super High Altitude in N Sikkim and terrorist prone area like Jammu & Kashmir. I have 22 Yrs plus experience of Security & Administration Departments in Big Corporate House.

EXPERIENCE IN CORPORATE SECTOR

Total Experience : 21Years in the Corporate Houses & Responsible for the following:

(a)Security & Surveillance of the Plant & Colony/Township premises comprising more than 4000 residences including 03 Big Schools, a full-fledged Hospital & a shopping complex with Appox 80 shops & other amenities’ like Bank & Post Office,was responsible for the Security & Surveillance as well as Administration of Township & Plant. Apart from this was responsible for the other Company Locations spread over an area of Appox 25 Sq KMs.The strength of the Security Department was appox 450 and was responsible for their Selection,Training, Deployment & Monitoring.

(b) Administration,Liasoning with Local Govt Authorities & Facilities Management including the following:

Transport Management: Managing Appox 35 Company owned Light Vehicles including the Maintenance & Budgeting. Apart from this, Managing Company Hired Vehs.

Company Guest House Management: comprising of Appox 55 Double Bed Rooms & 04 Dining Halls. Where Senior Govt Officials visit frequently.

Horticulture Management: Maintaining the complete Horticulture of the Plant & the colony premises with Appox 70 Regular sanctioned working heads.

Sanitation & Pest control Management: Responsible for the Sanitation & pest control of entire Plant & Colony Premises. Was also providing Pest Control & othere Facilities to the nearby villages as CSR Activity.

Fire Fighting Management: Responsible for the complete Maintenance, Preparedness & Training of the Fire Fighting Crew & Systems for the Township & Plant premises & train the nearby villagers on the subject. as well as nearby places on Call basis.

In my past assignment as Deputy Manager (Security & Town Administration) at (Renusagar Power Division) Hindalco Industries Limited a Flagship Company of Aditya Birla Group, since 31st December 1992 to 20.06.2009 (17 Years). Apart from handling a work force of over 450 staff & workmen within the Security Department, I was reporting to GM / Dy. GM (Administration) in framing and implementing policy relating to Security & Administration including Sub Departments like Transport, Horticulture, Fire Fighting, Guest House, and Sanitation & Pest Control in the Plant & Colony Premises comprising of Appox 4000 residences and spread over 25 Sq KMs

In my Adhunik assignment I was heading the Security Department as Sr. Manager (Security) I was reporting to Sr. VP SHEU (Safety, Health, Environment, Utility,) & Security in formulating and implementing policy related to the following

Formulation and implementation of policies related to Security and Administration of Plant and other premises of responsibility

Ensuring security of company’s property, plant, machinery, men & material spread over 12 sq km, including far-off places like Railway Siding & Paradeep Port.

Coordinating functioning of 03 shifts in security department and other responsibilities imparted by Management.

Manpower planning, including periodical review and rationalization of personnel strength of approx over 250 in the department.

Monitoring and coordinating day to day functioning of Security department including 08 officers, 20 Supervisors & 250 Security Guards

Liaison with local Police & Civil Administration Officials

Coordinating 5-S, ISO-14001 activities within Security Department.

In my DSCL assignment I was heading the Security & Administration Department comprising Appox 150 employees in the department and I was responsible for the overall Security and Administration of the Plant& Residential colony including the Sanitation, Horticulture,Transport,Fire Fighting & Guest House.
