Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts Environmental Safety and Health Orientation to new intakes as well as to contractors.

Performed daily walk-through for safety inspections of the facilities including fire systems. Documented and photographed findings and compiled and presented statistical data on safety activities to OHSMR. Coordinated the installation of fire extinguishers where necessary

Monitored strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance of the same to the workers.

Conducts regular Safety Patrol Audit on the entire plant

Recommends safety requirements and specifications that must be mandated in external contract negotiations

Develops Safety Training Program with OHSMR/EMR and coordinate with respective departments for proper implementation.
