EXPERIENCE

ISS Facility Services, Inc. Livingston, NJ/New York City, NY

Division Counsel (March, 2015 – Present) Counsel for Specialized Services and Aviation Division of American subsidiary with 17,000+ U.S. based employees in matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; various state counterparts; the National Labor Relations Board; labor arbitration hearings; develop Human Resources policies; conduct EEO training seminars; negotiate real estate and engineering service agreements; and oversee commercial and personal injury litigation.

Labor & Employment Relations:

Develop negotiating strategies for collective bargaining in the real estate, corporate food service, engineering and aviation services industries. Active member of several state-based multi-employer CBA negotiating teams.

Conduct training seminars on compliance with federal and state discrimination laws, Employers’ reasonable accommodation obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and proper methodology for conducting investigations into allegations of employee misconduct.

Transactional Work:

Draft and negotiate all service agreements and Requests for Proposal language for the real estate and aviation industries.

Negotiate commercial real estate lease agreements for office and warehouse properties, while devising the organization’s real estate tax appeal strategies.
