Cardiac Care Unit / Critical Care Unit – Memorial Medical Center (August 2012 – Present)
Oversee care of other conditions such as renal failure, DKA, stroke, alcohol withdrawal, suicidal ideation, pneumonia, CHF, hypotension, hypertension, A-fib with RVR, and SVT.
Titrate IV infusions of medications such as vasopressors (Norepinephrine, Neosynephrine, Epinephrine), sedatives
(Midazolam, Propofol, Lorazepam, Fentanyl), and antihypertensives (Nitroglycerin, Cardene).
Manage ventilated patients and re-assess need to increase or decrease ventilator settings based on data such as ABG results, lung sounds, respiratory effort / rate, and vital signs.
Provide care to post-CABG patients by ensuring stabilization of hemodynamics such as CVP, PA pressures, blood pressure, heart rate, urine output, and core temperatures.
Assist with intubations during codes and/or emergent situations.
Care for post cardiac catheterization patients including monitoring for dysrhythmias, hematoma formation at catheter entry site(s), and signs of re-occlusion such as chest pain and/or ST elevations. Also, perform sheath removal.
Managed care of patients with Impella and CRRT.

Initiated IV’s and accessed port-a-caths for chemotherapy and iron infusions.
