MATLAB TEACHING VOLUNTEER
College of Engineering, University of New Haven Fall 2017 – Fall 2018
Introduction to MATLAB for all Engineering and Non-engineering Department students which includes in working with Arrays, Matrices, 2D and 3D plotting
Collaborate and coordinate with faculty, staff and students across departments.
Guided the students in coding, assignments and research findings.
Well-planned, organized and led group discussions on MATLAB sessions.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Graduate Project, University of New Haven Jan 2018 – Dec 2018
Study and implement in MATLAB various communications, signal processing and statistical models that can help other students in understanding respective subjects. These include: channel models, transmitters, receivers of various kinds, filters, statistical models etc.,
Study of Bone conduction principles by testing different audio files to come up with a better filter design method such as IIR, FIR, LMS algorithm and Adaptive filter design techniques which can reduce the noise.
Design and implement AM transmitter in MATLAB by testing various wav files, voice signals and mp3 player for transmission purpose over antenna.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Binary Channel with Gaussian Noise and Squared Distortion Receiver using MATLAB
University of New Haven Oct 2017 – Dec 2017
In this project, I simulated a simple binary communication channel that is corrupted by Gaussian noise and squared distortion in the receiver electronics and estimated the probability of error and to generate the receiver operating characteristics
Design and Implement the 4-bit binary counter with Prescaled rate
University of New Haven Jun 2017 – Aug 2017
This design will involve the creation of a 4-bit binary counter with some special properties are prescalar, debounce & counter and implemented it in to a targeted FPGA board.
Design and Implementation of Asynchronous Decoder
University of New Haven Jun 2017
Design a two button inputs, decode the inputs and light one of four LEDs using Xilinx Vivado and implement it in to targeted FPGA board ARTY to see the results
Design and Study of Linear Antenna array radiation pattern
K L University Mar 2013 – Apr 2013
An Antenna array is the arrangement of multiple antennas (elements) excited with currents having definite phase and amplitude relationships to achieve a given radiation Pattern. In this project, I designed and simulated linear antenna array radiation patterns with a team using MATLAB for the Micro-wave engineering course work project presentation.
Design, Study and Implementation of Hamming code using Verilog module
K L University Feb 2013 – May 2013
Hamming code is an error correction method that can be used to detect errors during transmission from one device into another. In this project I studied and designed the code at both transmitter & receiver side test it using Xilinx ISE and implemented it in to targeted FPGA Spartan-3 or Altera board to see the results.
Design of Base band transmission system with optimum reception using Sinc pulses
K L University Sep 2013 – Oct 2013
This project is to study and design a baseband transmission system with optimum reception to develop better modulation and demodulation techniques using sinc pulses to get a good response at the receiver side.
Study and Implementation of TV remote Jammer using 555 timers
K L University Sep 2012 – Oct 2012
TV Remote Jammer confuses Infra-red receiver in a TV by producing a constant signal and not allowing other channel when operated. In this project, I have designed, implemented the block diagram on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and tested the results.
