I am currently working as pediatrician in Fairmont, West virginia for last 6 years. I have been practicing pediatrics for 16 years. As you can see my resume, after I graduated from Osmania Medical College and Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, India I joined the National Health Service in United Kingdom. My experience in United Kingdom primarily involved inpatient pediatrics apart from pediatric out -patient practice for select patient referred by primary care doctors in community. I was elected to be a member of Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health after passing required examination in UK. Landing in USA, I completed 2 years of pediatric residency at Hartford, CT affiliated to University of Connecticut. American Board of Pediatrics approved 1 year exemption in training in view of my training and experience in United Kingdom. After finishing residency in Hartford, I realized that I would be restricted to very few states as many states required 3 year residency training for medical licensure. I finished my 3rd year in Charleston, West Virginia joining my son and wife who was then doing her family medicine residency so that I could be with my family. It has been wonderful working with and taking care of families in this Appalachian mountains for last 6 years. As a pediatrician, pediatric medical director and quality improvement lead of my current pediatric department in federally qualified health center group practice, I provided the leadership for improving the practice efficiency and developing new programs to expand the scope of practice. I am particularly interested in improving the mental health services in my current practice by improving the systems based practice.

Having been raised in Hyderabad, India, a city of immense cultural and linguistic diversity, Dallas/Fort Worth area has always been attractive place for me to settle down and raise family. Family connections is another reason for choosing Dallas/Fort Worth area part from the weather. I have active current full license from Texas Medical Board. My wife is due to start as family medicine practitioner in South Dallas area in June 2019. Currently we work at same office in Fairmont, West Virginia. Arnav my 12 year old son is currently in 7th grade and Anshu my 6 year old daughter is in 1st grade.

My current immigration status is H1B and has I-140 (green card application) approved. Having completed 3 years of service in medically under-served communities and J1 waiver sponsored by interested government agency, I would be eligible to transfer my H1B from my current employer. I have PNIW( physician national interest waiver) application pending with USCIS( United States Customs and Immigration Services). In case of PNIW approval, I would not need PERM labor certification and green card sponsorship from your facility as my green card approved application is portable.
