2018 Geo-Environmental Project Manager- Served as both project manager, and environmental engineer with this consulting firm and laboratory. 2002 -2006 PROSCIENCE ANALYTICAL SERVICES – Newington, Connecticut

Manager of Environmental Services//Branch Manager – Recruited by this Massachusetts-based laboratory and consulting firm as the #2 person to be hired to open their Connecticut office. Sole Engineer and Lead Consultant for the Connecticut branch. Specific projects included: wastewater, groundwater, drinking water, storm water, soil and air. In addition to technical and supervisory duties (described below), responsibilities include: proposal development; contract negotiation/administration and office administration, including billing and accounting.

Lead, asbestos inspection projects, under state of Connecticut licensing.

Monitored and supervised abatement companies in the collection, handling, testing and analysis of samples.

Utilize specialized knowledge involving Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) and Phased Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).

Connecticut Department of Transportation Reconstruction of I-95/I-91/34 Interchange – Managed a crew of drillers in an expansion project which involved the intersection of two interstate highways and a major state road.

New Haven Harbor Crossing Improvements – Managed a drilling project which involved a sequence of boring number and types of samples taken for determination of soil strata, depth and soundness of bedrock. Ensured the integrity of the bedrock – essential for structural strength of the bridge.

Hartford Park Pond Restoration – Determined the type of sampling and interval length for borings taken in preparation for building a recreation center. Analyzed soil data and soil report.
