Support end users software, hardware, and network related issues

Individually assigned to support legacy software running Windows CE. This runs software that specializes in calibrating natural gas detector . The back-end runs on a virtual server listening for new records to sync up with the database.

Monitor LAN traffic in regards to congestion and bandwidth consumption using SolarWinds

Hardware includes Dell and Getac model laptops ranging from a number of different model numbers.

Work with the Network Engineer to upgrade Cisco brand switches and routers.

Deploying software packages and Windows images deploying to clients.

Configuring switches by pulling start up configuration files from a TFTP server.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

o Setup redundancy between Routers using HSRP virtual gateway and forcing secondary router to take over as soon as Router has failed.

o Made monitor sessions through port-mirroring and ran Wireshark for packet capture analysis.
