Detailed Work Experience :

*July 2013 –April 2018 as Project Director for ES ENDÜSTRİYEL CO. LTD.

Contractor for “Aegean Gateway Project” a Major Project Complex for Petro-Chemical

Premises consisting of one Oil Refinery and a Chemical Plant, two Hourbors on Aegean

Coast of Turkey one of which being the biggest Container Port in the Eastern Mediter-

rean Area. Total cost of completed projects reached $750.000.000 . Project completed

* January 2012 to June 2013 As CEO for “Osama Al Thawadi” Group of

companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain for Design Manufacturing and installation of

Housing projects, Tensile Structures - Tent Structures (Manufactured by one of the

Group Companies namely Gulfshade) along with some other Architectural finishes.

Company was also active in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE having Headquarters in Bahrain.

*September 2008 to December 2011 As Vice President & Project Manager

in ORCHID PROPERTIES involved in development and construction of residential

projects in Bahrain. Company completed more than 10 high-rise condominium projects

Construction Co. ltd. in Abu Dhabi-UAE. The Client was municipality of Abu

Dhabi and the Consultant was De Lew Cather Int. Ltd from USA. The project

was Construction of a new Corniche Road including several Underpasses & Bridges

with a total value of 53.000.000 US$.

*1988- November 2001 As Board Member of YAPIT CONSTRUCTION & TRADE

INC. completed housing projects, villas and condominium apartments, office buildings

in turn-key basis, hotel renovation works (for Club Robinson-a major German investor)

in Antalya- Turkey, several design contracts inland and abroad (Russia). Accomplished

*1976-1988 As full time Assist. Professor in Istanbul Technical University -Faculty

of Architecture, accomplished doctorate in 1981, issued papers, attended conferences

& seminars in Turkey and abroad. Doctorate published by ITU University Press on

January 1981.

*1972-1976 Freelance architect with a German partner in Stuttgart- Germany.

Designed and executed housing & environmental projects. Attended and

accomplished doctorate level courses in Technishe Universitaet Stuttgart- Germany.

*1967-1972 Education in Istanbul Technical University – ITU- Faculty of Architecture-

graduated with Ms. degree.

Languages : English (Fluent), German (Good), Turkish (Mother tongue)

Computer Literacy : All windows operated office programs (World, Excel, Power point, MS Project ), Working knowledge with AutoCAD, and Primavera 9 (Not proficient !)
