MAIN PROJECT

Sep 2015 - Feb 2016 “AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY OF EFFECT OF BIRD FEATHER LIKE WINGLETS”.

The aim of this project is to study the potential use of winglets to get reductions in the induced drag through variations of cant angle winglets.

Wing tip devices or winglets aim is reduction of induced drag because which is responsible for 30-40% of the total drag of a transport-aircraft.
