TechnipFMC FMC Technologies Houston, TX 2012 – 2018 Designer III Lead Designer - Controls Engineering

Lead Designer for BP Portfolio, managing all design requests. Produced 3D models and drafting for the

following products: UTHs, HDMs, EDUs, SFLs, Cobra Heads, Control Panels, Topsides HPUs, and Mudmats.

Lead Designer for Anadarko Prosperidade Project, under Independent Portfolio. Provided the customer with completed, released Scope of Supply, Sensor, Hydraulic, and Electrical Schematics. Prepared documentation for engineering to use for bidding purposes, and met their demands while delivering project packages on-time for DRs.

Lead Designer for Freeport - McMoran project under Independent Portfolio. Collaborating with the Systems Engineering Group, I developed Full Field Systems Schematics and System Scope of Supply Schematics for the Holstein Deep and Horn Mountain fields. These schematics will be used as "Templates" for future Systems Schematics. Working with the Systems Engineers to develop ROV access study and field layouts for Freeport - McMoran.

As an Active Resource for MPS, I assisted in reducing the Work Load to a manageable state.

Mentor coworkers, sharing best practices with designers within and from different divisions.

Conducted Safety Audits, within, manufacturing to help identify any unsafe habits and processes.

Baker Hughes The Woodlands, TX 2008 – 2012 Technologist/Design Engineer, Product Engineering

Manipulate existing designs and create new designs, for various drill bit product lines, that contribute to an increase in profit and market share. The product lines include: Tricone (TCI and Steeltooth) and PDC (Diamond, Casing, and Steelbody).

Perform internal audits, within manufacturing, observing the efficiency of the assembly process.

Conduct product inspections which involve the task to disposition parts based on root cause analysis. This monitored the integrity of the part ensuring a premium quality product is delivered to our customers.

Managed a crew of four employees, on a full – scale drill rig simulator, in the Drilling Laboratory.

Responsible for organizing and conducting product testing to produce and record raw data be analyzed. The raw data was, also, processed to create performance charts and graphs for AARs.

Maintained the Drilling Lab inventory, coordinating with lab personnel to stock parts.

First Responder Evacuation Team– CPR certified.

Significant achievements:

Reduced rig idle time by taking on the task of mixing and building the drilling fluids onsite. This cut the idle time down to two days from five days. This, also, saved the company $70,000.00, annually, eliminating vendors’ costs and shipping costs.

Reduced the maintenance downtime by learning and performing, major, in-house repair jobs. This saved the company thousands of dollars, annually, by reducing contractors and maintenance fees.

Provided new hires with essential training while encouraging new and existing employees to work safely and efficiently.

Baker Hughes Houston, TX 1993 - 1996

Lab Technician, Drilling Fluids

Supported the field, fluid specialists by troubleshooting issues with the sample drilling fluid sent from the rig location. Analyzed the drilling fluid and provided a recipe that would correct the drilling fluid on location.
