Job Title: Job Captain, CAD Manager (with many Project Management responsibilities)
My duties included Overseeing the Project Design/ Development, Entitlement and Construction Documentation phases for many types of commercial, office and Industrial projects as well as .and some Residential (single and Multi-Family) building projects.
The various building uses included hotels, retail building shell, office building shell, churches, Community Centers, Educational/ Institutional and Light Industrial.
In addition, I have designed and managed a wide array of Tenant Improvement projects of many uses. Many of these T.I. projects were follow up jobs located in various commercial and office shell buildings previously designed by our firm.
I have extensive experience with building and site analysis, building code analysis and verification value engineering, as well project valuation and the bidding process. I possess a fairly complete knowledge of the entire permit process.
I have responsible for the coordination of all consulting engineers, general contractors and subs as well as direct client contact for many of the projects that were assigned to me.
Beyond the architectural aspects, I have designed quite a lot of the smaller mechanical and plumbing jobs that we have encountered.
In terms of AutoCAD and Computer Graphics, I laid out and managed most of our firms drafting conventions and general unified look and feel of our plan sets.
Additionally, I have a pretty much complete working knowledge of computers in general as well as networking and I.T. management skills.
