**** ******* **** *** ****, CA 95125

I am an Electrical Engineering graduate with more than 4 years experience in various tracks (Networking, Wireless, Voice, Security, Virtualization, Server Administration, Desktop Support and Service Management) currently working on multiple professional certification including CEH and CCNA Security. Arabic is my native language.

Education:

San Jose State University, San Jose, CA. MS Electrical Engineering: Networking GPA 3.87 (Expected December 2018)

University Of Khartoum, Sudan. Bsc Electrical Engineering GPA 3.82 (September 2010)

Projects

●Machine Learning Based Intrusion Detection System: I implemented a machine learning based Intrusion detection system. The system was implemented using Python and I used my own dataset to train and test the IDS module. I generated the multiple attack traffics using Metasploit installed in Centos VirtualBox to attack a VM running Metasploitable. And I used Pythorch to implement and train a ML using LSTM algorithm. I used Wireshark to sniff the data and used python to parse through the captured data to get the encrypted payload in order to make the IDS more resilient in face of zero day attacks.

●Firewall in Ubuntu using Python: I implemented a Firewall mechanism to filter/block data packets based on the IP address, protocols (TCP/UDP/ICMP) and port number using Python on Ubuntu Virtual Machine. Also used Wireshark to sniff and examine packet headers and details while modifying the firewall code.
