Indirect Sourcing Project Manager

December 2016 – May 2018

Currently managing an enterprise implementation of a Source to Pay System called Coupa into our facilities that includes all Direct and Indirect spend. Managing, coaching, and motivating a team of 10 key contributors made up from IT, Finance, Sourcing, along with partnering with internal leaders and third-party contractors. Role responsibilities include scoping the project, design of processes, training of users and suppliers, through stabilization and sign-off of the system. In total, Andersen will have over $1B in spend flowing through the tool with almost 5000 users across the enterprise in 21 locations.

Led, developed, and implemented new roles and processes for hiring Contract/Temporary Labor across the enterprise. Working directly with 30+ temp agencies to coordinate and setup governance with Senior Management from Andersen. In total, the effort resulted in savings of $3M annualized across the company and gave an opportunity to over 400+ new employees.

Project Engineer II

February 2014 – December 2016

Led the implementation of the Centralized Packaging Cell that included scoping the project, design of machinery; through to the validation phase of the project as well as developing the documentation that included JBA’s, Maintenance Plans, Staffing Levels, Work Instructions, and Training the operators as well as the WIP needed for the Kanban Materials and Finished Goods carts. The project included 14 custom assets, 5 full time associates per shift, all while building relationships with several different organizations external and internal resources of Andersen.

Researched, quoted, and successful Implemented simulation software that included $20k in expenditures; included training of other employees and researching the matter to become the internal matter expert. This software allows our Industrial Engineering team to test continuous improvement and flow concepts prior to implementation.

Led two cost savings projects that were implemented in different locations that will result in $250k in annual savings at maturity of the product line. Teaming up with sourcing, safety, and RD&I to implement as well as conduct testing to ensure we have met the requirements for the PLM process.

Became an expert around the Product Design Process or the PDP Management tool, which included facilitating Kaizens across the entire enterprise and teaching these tools to Project Managers within the company for not only new product lines, but also for continuous improvement opportunities. Utilizing Lean methodology to remove waste, create a design that was easier to manufacture (DFM), error-proof the assembly, and ultimately lower costs were some of the goals and activities of the role.
