GIS Analyst in Training
PERSONAL STATEMENT
EDUCATION
I am 23 years-old and I have just received a Bachelors degree in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems & Technology (GIS). I love everything that has to do with map design & development, analyzing data or patterns, implementing GIS software to solve problems, and I feel a true devotion for geography. I have worked summers in the Forest Service for the past 3 years and have gained knowledge in fire suppression as well as forestry. I do have unrelated certifications from the U.S Forest Service as an A grade sawyer in falling trees as well as an operator of fire engines and other government vehicles. But now I look forward to turning my experience and education into a career. I love working with people, especially if they have the same passion I have for what they do. MY SPECIALITIES
