Served as Astt. Engineer (Civil) at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar from1981to 1999 . The work related to construction & Design of multistoreyed buildings

Worked as Executive Engineer (Design) from 1999 to 2001.

Worked as Executive Engineer head & Incharge of Engineering Deptt (Civil, P.H. Electrical & Design) from 2001 to 2016

A number of prestigious construction projects of GNDU such as International level swimming pool, I.T. building (MRSB),Applied Sciences Block,Sports Sciences Building, International level Indoor stadium,Hockey Stadium,Velodrome Student and Teacher’s Holiday Home,Girls Hostel(Six Storeyed), Boys Hostel,STP,Khalsa Heritage Building, Lecture theatre Building, Extension of chemistry Deptt, Physics Deptt, Biology Deptt, Extension of electronic Deptt., were constructed under my supervision.

The work involves planning, Designing, Estimating, Tendering & Execution of Building works.

Besides GNDU Amrisar, construction works at R.C. Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Sathiala & Fatudhinga,university college Jalandhar,verka,nairi chung and ASSM college makandpur were taken up and completed under my supervision

I did my P.G. Diploma in design & construction of concrete Structures & PGPCM during my service

Attended short course on Seismic Design & Retrofitting of RCC Building from Dec 17 to Dec 21, 2001 held at Ahmedebad. It was carried out by IIT Kanpur after Bhuj Earth Quake, Gujrat

worked as visiting part time faculty member for subject of Building Materials, Building Construction, Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, PH Engineering & Design of RCC structures at Deptt. of Architecture GNDU Amritsar

Appointed technical advisor by khalsa college Society in the year 2002 for their building works.
