Bakken Gas for Shale
Design of a natural gas processing plant that intakes ~84 Mil lbs./day of natural gas from the Bakken formation, to produce liquid natural gas, natural gasoline, propane and ethane. This was designed with a “green” approach, with the idea to reduce emissions to a minimum, by producing marketable products from contaminants found in the gas feed.
My duties and contributions included researching and designing the, outlet compression process, liquefaction process, inlet receiving and compression process, the hazard and operability study, market analysis of products, economic analysis and cost summary, as well as aiding in the construction of our reports and presentations.
