Dear [Hiring Manager],

As a graduate of Arizona State University's Housing & Community Development program, I had the unique opportunity to earn my bachelor's degree in an area of study that combined several different aspects of the built environment, such as: business, design, planning, government policies and more. This provided me with a wide variety of skills that I have since used to build my career as a Project Manager over the last six years. Through my education and my most recent work experience as a Construction Project Manager, I have learned to rely on my creative problem-solving skills and effectively communicate with and understand the needs of clients in order to successfully complete and coordinate multiple projects.

My willingness to learn has allowed me to quickly excel in new software programs and adapt to new circumstances both in the office and field environments. With a strong design background and a history of successfully managing and completing numerous remodels and commercial improvements, I have developed an extensive understanding of the built environment, and I am confident that I would make an excellent addition to your team. I look forward to speaking with you in person about any opportunities that you may have available.

Thank you,

David Matthew Peterson
