The Picture Factory: Sales Manager: 2006-2010

As store manager of Ft. Myers and Naples store I managed a store’s that had $ 1,000,000.00 worth of merchandise. I was in charge of the interviewing, hiring and termination of employees. I managed 4 employees and their schedules. I would hold sales meetings to report sales for the day and prior day and month to date sales. I was in charge of running and reporting sales to the corporate office. I was also in charge of receiving, ticketing and displaying of new merchandise in its proper placement. I was also in charge of ordering all store supplies. Lastly I would hold one on one meetings with associates to promote customer service.

Burdines/Macy’s: Receiving Manager- Naples FL.: 1983-2006

I was inventory manager for a $25 million dollar store. I was in charge of receiving all merchandise coming in and all merchandise being shipped out of the store, this also includes all placement of merchandise onto the sales floor. I also interviewed and hired new associates. I managed 15 employees and their schedules, and their coaching and counseling of associates behaviors. I was also in charge of the stores safety program. I ordered all supplies for the store within a budget. I was also in charge of finding ways to increase productivity. I attended all Federated management training programs. Lastly I was in charge of Operational duties like overseeing the maintenance, housekeeping, and visual department.
