Responsible for 24 Bed DNV Stroke Certified MSICU and Neuro ICU, 6 Bed Step-down ICU and PICC and IV services at both Hillcrest Main and Hillcrest South campuses. 100 direct reports in these three departments. Accomplishments include hiring and training for 35 open positions during the first six months on the job including leadership and administrative personnel. Facilitated Epic rollout during go-live and assisted in training of bedside staff. During this time all three units have returned to proper staffing budget and consistently operated within budget. Supply costs have been cut by 15%. The units have maintained greater than 98% occupancy during this time as well.
