Field Staff Registered Nurse

Provide direct patient care in the patient home setting. Perform head to toe assessments with clinical observation, evaluation and teachings related to the patient’s disease process. Wound care performed as ordered from physician- including (not limited too): wound-vac changes, orthopedic incision care, diabetic/stasis ulcers and wet to dry dressing changes. Venipunctures performed as well as specimen collection with transportation to lab. IV insertion/administration with dressing line changes.

Covenant Medical Center 2006-2012

Staff Registered Nurse, Coronary Intensive Care Unit

Provide direct patient care to the coronary hemodynamically unstable patient. Job responsibilities included (not limited too): close monitoring of patients necessitating IABP, CRRT, mechanical ventilation and tedious titration of medication drips. Patient care varied from post arrest to PCI. Skilled nurse works closely with cardiologists for bedside procedures (ie. cardioversions) and close observation of patients requiring cardiac intervention.

Provided direct patient care on a step down cardiac telemetry unit.
