CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
ER CHARGE NURSE: Ensuring quick, complete and holistic care for patients at a heart and stroke certified hospital. Stabilizing patients and preparing for next step in patient care. Assisting nursing staff and helping them with transiting, stabilizing and treating patients. Working with physicians in providing absolute best care for our patients. Maintaining a stable ER through associating with auxiliary staff, nursing team, physicians and families.
ER NURSE: Providing care and support for patients and family in collaboration with physicians at a heart and stroke certified hospital. Stabilization of patients in acute distress and trauma. Monitoring patient and been able to realize variation from normal, react accordingly for patient stabilization. Be able to function independently in acute cases until provider intervenes. Assist conscious sedation, intubations, chest tubes, lumber puncture, paracentesis, cardiocentesis, central lines, joint reduction, suturing, EKG monitoring and code blues.
ICU NURSE: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients experiencing life threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies and interventions. Performing therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care. Monitor surgical grafts and assisting in bedside procedures; ICP monitoring, CVP monitoring, Ventilator care and bedside Dialysis to name a few.
