6 years of service in the Navy graduating from Bootcamp in Great Lakes to attending C school in Dahlgren to finally being assigned to the USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79)

This rating series covers positions the paramount duties of which involve operating or supervising the operation of the controls of the digital computer system. Also included are duties involving the operation of peripheral equipment when: (1) such equipment is used directly in support of computer operations; and (2) the operation of such equipment is directly related to acquiring the knowledge and skills needed in operating the control console of a computer system. Positions in this rating require knowledge of the functions of the various computer features and the skill to read, interpret, and correctly respond to information in the form in which it is transmitted through the computer System Combat Information Center (CIC) and bridge with tactical and radar information as well as conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on associated systems. Honorably discharged from the Navy on November of 2012, current Secret Clearance status was active until last year 2016.
