Experience:

Maintenance and support for international, multi-lingual web content. More than 400 distinct sites including more than 100 languages. All content generated by a CMS and exported to Distributed Content Network with automatic proxies to link static content with dynamic content. Investigated and fixed data integrity issues and programming errors in a large billing system. Coordinated data and code fixes with other teams locally and remotely. Worked on independent projects in Perl to solve data integrity issues more efficiently.

Designed and developed software to convert data for a variety of applications. Sources included COBOL data files, Relational Databases, Object Oriented Databases and flat data files. Used C/C++, Perl, COBOL, Korne Shell, Oracle, and Aspect on several projects.

Converted and validated a 250,000-customer database during an intense 96- hour process. As a member of this team I was required to run, evaluate, optimize, debug and fix more than 20 different conversion applications. Developed and maintained a strategy based location selection application for a warehouse control system. Programmed in C with embedded SQL in a client / server structure.

Modified and rewrote financial and inventory reports and batch processes in a small business environment. Used Informix on a SCO platform. Provided user support and UNIX system administration and database administration for a small business management systems, including accounting, inventory, and job control applications. Used Delphi, HTML, CGI, Perl, Netscape Composer, and MS-Office 95 on Windows 95, NT4, and SCO platforms.
