Technical Specialist II

Full time sole network and technical support resource for two separate buildings / companies and 140+ users. Administer, install, troubleshoot and repair network server and desktop hardware and software, as well as standalone PCs and servers that support plant manufacturing and shipping processes.

Deploy new equipment, recondition and re-provision older equipment. Support a wide variety of printers and mobile devices (laptops, mobile scanners, tablets and phones). Perform procurement-related tasks (obtaining quotes, interfacing with vendors and outside service providers), as well as technical liaison for local user community with out-of-state headquarters. Responsible for maintaining equipment inventory, documenting local systems and procedures, and answer helpdesk calls from US, Canada and beyond.
