Sudoku Puzzle Application
Used Matlab to develop an application to generate Sudoku puzzles of a specified difficulty level, each with a unique solution. Devised a system for grading the difficulty of unsolved puzzles using mathematical properties of the matrix representing an unsolved puzzle.
Stock Market Trend Discovery Application
Worked with head of IIT Math Department to analyze trends within stock market data. Used Matlab to analyze a large dataset consisting of daily market data gathered from previous years. Java Lottery System
Developed application to determine the winner of a series of events that occur after being selected in a lottery. The selected people were assigned random cars as prizes with different velocities and accelerations. The participants were then ranked by the expected outcome if they were to have a race. Used Java and extensive use of Object-Oriented Programming.
Black Scholes Model Application
Worked on a team to develop an application in Matlab to model trends in stock prices under the Black Scholes model. Used data from previous years to calibrate and test the model. EXPERIENCE & ACTIVITIES
Department of Applied Mathematics
at IIT Student Assistant January 2018-Present
Student grader for a mathematical modeling course. Responsible for grading assignments and recording scores.
Department of Applied Mathematics
at IIT Student Assistant Summer 2017
Worked on a research team of professors and students to develop a software package in Macaulay2 that allows algebraic objects to be produced and analyzed with ease. The package was submitted to the Macaulay2 repository, and can now be utilized by algebraists and algebraic geometers for further research in abstract algebra. An academic paper was published in the Journal of Software for Algebra and Geometry. Association for Women in
