2006 – Current: Moved to Phoenix, AZ. Started working for Wal-Mart and have been managing 2 different pharmacies since then. The first pharmacy was filling around 120 prescriptions a day when I started and we were filling 400+ prescriptions by the time I moved on to another store. Within 2 years I doubled the prescription count of the next pharmacy, where I am still working at this time.

Qualified as a pharmacist in 1985 in South Africa.

1985 – 1986: Worked in the military as a pharmacist. I managed a Medical Sub Depot which provided military bases and State hospitals with medical supplies.

1987 – 2002: I owned 2 pharmacies, which also had a large general shopping area with jewellery, gifts, cosmetics and more. Added to regular pharmacist duties I managed debtors, creditors, inventory, scheduling, personnel, payroll and everything involved in running a business.

2002 -2006: Immigrated to USA and started working for Albertsons in Lacey, WA. I managed that pharmacy for 3&1/2 years. Received Pharmacy of the Year award 2005

Customer service and HR is a strong point of mine and I am a team player. I am eager to explore new horizons in pharmacy although I know that I may need some training. I am motivated to learn and move in a new direction. I am also very adaptable and see change as a challenge.
