Brief explanation about applications in the project:

DCT: Dealer competitive Tracking/Dealer Contact tool, allows the users keep a track of all contacts made and provide various reports

Auction Reconciliation: The application presents authorized users with a screen to enter Auction Sales data. The screens displays the total proceeds and give the user the chance to alter any amounts before they submit the results and send an e-mail when data is added or updated

Cash Actual: Capture and report Actual Cash Activity on a Daily Basis.

Held Offerings: The “Held Offering” application helps notify dealers about issues that need to be remedied in order for Ally to book the contract.

ABQA/One Touch: ABQA is an application used to create, complete and audit quality assurance reviews on accounts booked to ensure adherence to credit and underwriting policy guidelines and regulations. The results are then reported to the business owners and other stakeholders on a monthly basis for remediation, if necessary.

Security Filings: Security Filings is an application where new insurance are filled, verification and maintenance of existing insurance are done. It is used to generate reports for analyzing the insurance.

Responsibilities as PLSQL Developer:

Direct interaction with clients for requirements

Coding for the new requirement / coding for enhancements in PL /SQL

Testing in various scenarios and showing the Demo to client and getting the approval for deployment

Description:

The insurance data of Hartford is taken care by our account. We follow ETL process to process the data.

ETL process: Data comes from different sources in different formats will get loaded in to the system, then its gets processed and reformatted. And finally loaded to the Dimensions and facts of data warehouse.

Upstream reports are taken from those Dimensions and Facts. Using which Business people will take decisions to improve the Business.

The ETL process for the CLDW includes 100 jobs. The jobs ran thrice a week, each load and the process took 2 days to complete. In Our project, we did changes in code (jil changes, procedures and packages), time and dependency to run the jobs daily and made the jobs to complete in Single day.

Writing the test case, uploading the test case into Quality Center and running the test cases.
