PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: Over twenty five years’ experience in the construction industry holding various positions of leadership and responsibility. Every position held during this time has contributed to an exceptional construction management background. The last twenty years have, for the largest part, been specialized in Heavy Industrial construction and Cast in Place Concrete. I have extensive experience with piling work of most types, including, auger cast both friction and point load, I beam point load and pipe pilling of point load and friction.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
Construction Manager June 1 2016 to present With JEA on the Blacks Ford waste water treatment expansion. This project included a pair of bio-reactors, splitter box, head works, effluent pump station and lab. Two clarifier tanks along with two storage tanks, additionally new higher capacity Bio-solids structure. During this this time I provide estimates of added site projects and re-adjusted the original estimates while the project was in progress. Expansion increased plant production from 2 million gallons a day to 6 million daily. Project value 225 Million USD.
Construction Manager January 2014 to May 27, 2016 at Freeport-McMoRan Morenci Mine. During this time I was tasked to provided estimates and approvals for site specific projects and estimates for future work within the company. The expansion will provide a 40% increase of milling ore at 115,000 million tons a day. Primary focus is the METCALF building expansion, the footprint equals 9 football fields combined with 15 levels. During times of Senior Management away I am acting team leader with 8 direct reports including safety. Project value 3 Billion USD.
Construction and QA/QC Manager July 2013 to January 24, 2014. With TVIG in Panhandle TX. I was responsible for construction matters across all disciplines. During this time we had twenty five concrete pours that were under massive concrete guides for hot weather conditions. Additionally I was tasked with estimating the initial site work for two additional projects and also estimating the total estimates for the final site and foundation works. I was tasked to approve and review additional estimates for site work and began the initial estimation of follow on projects for all civil including erection works. This facility is using the Siemens SWT 2.3-101 Turbines. Project value 120 Million USD.
Civil manager July 2012 to July 2013, additional duties QA/QC lead on contract to Exelon Wind group, Laredo TX with Exelon Corporation at Whitetail Wind farm in Oilton TX. Primary civil inspector for all earth works, re-bar, structural steel, underground electrical, back fill, concrete, road construction and sub-station with tie into the power grid. Approved estimates by the EPC for additional site works and began the initial estimate for two follow on projects in the area. Heavily involved with remediation and reclamation of site. Project value 240 Million USD.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE Continued:
Civil Construction Manager March 2012 to July 2012 with Freeport-McMoRan Copper and Gold Mines. The project is a reverse osmosis desalination and sewage water treatment facility producing 500 liters per second of fresh and treated water for the mine and the local city of Copiapo. Approved estimates for additional works for expansion of facility and increases of pump stations as required for increased capacity of pumping process water. Responsibilities include the construction of a 6500 cubic meter water holding tank that was completed ahead of schedule, 500 liter per-second pump station completed early, marine works of intake and saline discharge and all underground piping. Project value 3 billion USD.
General Superintendent and QA/QC manager June 2010 to March 2012 Day & Zimmerman Browns Ferry at the Browns Ferry Nuclear power generation facility. Supervised the 50% and 100% design reviews for all disciplines and established direct liaison with the engineering team. Estimated the construction costs of site requirements and added construction for the project. Project involved the construction of largest lift station the in the TVA and a new 28 cell cooling tower. Project value 225 million USD.
Civil construction and QA/QC manager January 2010 to December 2010 ProEnergy Services, a EPC company working in Venezuela. My assignment is at Puerto Ordaz at the Sidor site. The project for site B phase 1 includes the construction of a GE Frame 7EA GTG and a GE Frame 7FA. The project specifications are governed by ACI Massive and Structural Massive concrete provisions, ACI 318-02 and ACI 207.3R-94, approximately 2000 cubic meters of hot weather pour and cure guides. Phase 2 was the construction of two 7FA plants with the future expansion of HSRG’s and steam turbines modifying the second phase into a combined cycle plant. Project value 245 million USD.
Project Manager December 2008 to January 2010 at AR Prime LLC for the Shaw Arriva Savanah river project and an onsite waste water treatment project. Responsible for schedule and project estimates for the deliverables and construction costs. I was additionally responsible for the QA/QC team and supervised the construction of the structural elements and decking, responsible for this project and estimation of others with a similar scope. Project values varied 20 to 50 million USD.
Civil Superintendent September 2008 to December 2008 Civil and D&D Superintendent Shaw Group, Hudson River BET project for PSE&G. This was a coal and fuel oil power generation plant. Reviewed all civil project estimates and change orders as required. This project entailed the installation of filter bag houses to keep airborne solid pollutions such as fly ash from escaping. Responsible of all pipe piling @ 95 feet, both pre-splice and field spliced. Project 135 million USD.

General Superintendent and QA/QC manager March 2006 to September 2008, Colorado Energy Management. This project in Hobbs New Mexico was a power generation station utilizing two Mitsubishi frame 501F turbines with their respective generators and HRSGs. Responsible for managing a time and material subcontractor providing skilled labor and the company’s onsite management team. Crew size at the high point exceeded 880 civil craft workers on two shifts. The project specifications are governed by ACI Massive and Structural Massive concrete provisions, ACI 318-02 and ACI 207.3R-94. The yardage under these guides exceeded 7,000 yards of massive concrete and site supporting structures in excess of 29,000 yards. Additional duties are QA/QC for all concrete work, ACI manual of concrete inspection SP-9(99), inspection for structural steel ASIC section 7 and Paragraph 8c and on site industrial painting. Project value 228 million USD.
Supervisor August 2004 to March 2006 Lydig Construction, various construction projects, union and nonunion work, including D&D planning with execution, cast in place concrete, layout for a diesel hydration unit and two hospital expansions. Three waste water treatment plant capital improvement projects. New and expansion projects. Supervised all pipe both HDPE, steel and two massive concrete pours of 600 cyds each in extreme hot weather. Project values 30 to 50 million USD.
Supervisor 92 to 2004 four petroleum facility projects and 2 hospital expansion project for Island county hospital. On all of these projects I was responsible for the D&D of structures that were not to be used further. All D&D work required coordination with the operating plant management to ensure no interruption of daily operations. Project values varied between 125 and 250 million USD.
CONSTRUCTION FIELD EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
General Manager and senior superintendent for AC3 Construction Company. Works included restoration and renovation of historical buildings and new construction. Supervised jobs of various sizes with full time employees from 3-25. Majority of projects required some partial D&D of existing structures with new construction joining the existing. I designed all temporary supporting structures on these projects.
In excess of 110,000 yards of cast in place concrete including 28,000 yards of massive and structural massive concrete. I have considerable “gang” form experience and have designed many form systems and have worked with both engineered and various pre-manufactured form systems.

Eight years of active duty and six in the reserves with the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer ultimately gaining the rank of Lt. Commander including an assignment requiring management of 1100 enlisted and officers.
US Southern Command’s representative to the State Department for Central and South America's Military-to-Military Contact Program. This required interaction between 19 Military Group Commanders, SOUTHCOM and the State Department to ensure proper planning and execution of a 19 million dollar program budget I prepared.
Executive Officer and Director of Training for a ten million dollar plus training facility. Supervised five senior staff department managers, ensuring every command responsibility was timely executed. Supervised a training staff of 15, which provided support for an organic population of 1500 Navy Reservists. Achieved a 30 percent increase in skill and mobility training level.

Established steering groups with assigned advisors and emphasized the engagement of non-government organizations having human rights agendas in the Americas. at the Summit of the Americas in 1994.
Prepared and published reports concerning naval reserve personnel support activities NSSC Authored Shipboard Helicopter Operations Bill with critical elements incorporated into the fleet's standard manual.
