I collaborate with assigned key stakeholders to design, evaluate, and enhance processes and programs; with a specific focus on building construction, costs forecasting and company management. This includes leadership and coordination of all phases of process/program design, construction and facilities including analysis and implementation.

Carepointe Development LLC – Cincinnati, Ohio

Director of Design & Construction 2011 – 2012

I managed the design, construction, and facilities departments for 3 nursing home campuses and rehabilitation facilities throughout Cincinnati. As the Director I was directly accountable for overseeing staff and operations that ensure Carepointe provides a safe, secure, efficient, sustainable, attractive, comfortable environment for the tenants. I also oversaw construction and purchasing for a $3.1 million-dollar addition for a new senior living campus as well as overseeing major and minor renovation projects. Using Six Sigma, I have also taken Hillandale Communities into the next level of operation by going green.

Communicare Health Services – Cincinnati, Ohio

As a consultant, I was involved with budgets, personnel, construction, and facilities, security, and construction for 44 nursing home campuses and rehabilitation facilities throughout Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. Over my employ, I was involved with approx. $6.8 million of construction projects and approx. $12.8 million of renovation projects in different phases as well as overseeing the Maryland region facilities program.

DNK Architects – Cincinnati, Ohio

Sr. Project Manager 2006 – 2010

DNK Architects Inc. is a small architectural design firm that specializes in large corporate clients within the inner city. Project costs ranged from $100,000 to $36,000,000. I was involved in taking projects from concept through completion. My job functions included client relations and overseeing design, specifications, and construction overview. Children’s Hospital Project which included a 6-story parking garage, a 6 story 350,000 SF medical facility and a 3 story 100,000 SF office structure. These projects were on budget and 2 months over schedule.

I was the project Manager for the renovation of the ICU for the University Hospital of Cincinnati. This was a very complex project because the ICU needed to stay operational during construction. This 8,000 SF space was broken down into 6 smaller projects for hospital operations. Due to proper planning, this project, though complicated, came in on schedule and budget.

Federated Department Stores, Cincinnati, Ohio

Sr. Manager 1998 – 2006

I managed many of the interior architectural projects for the east coast divisions of Federated department stores. All projects require extensive cross branding between private label and vendor shops as well as outside consultant coordination. Over a 2 year period I have been the Senior Project Manager on 12 new and renovation projects plus a “Roll Out” projects for 25 existing locations. Project costs ranged from $300K to $36.8M.

As a Six Sigma, Black Belt I have saved the company over $4.0M by saving energy through lighting modifications within a 1 year period.
