EXPERIENCE
Systems Engineer at ePac Holdings LLC, San Diego, CA Nov 2017 - Present
• Currently working in a small team, responsible for maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure, configuration of Active Directory, Azure AD, G-Suite, workstations and phone setup.
• Engineered an efficient network design to be used as the framework for upcoming plant locations.
• Implemented a WebJob to automate the acquisition and renewal of SSL certificates for WebApps running on Azure.
• Developed an application to integrate the functionalities of Dropbox API and Google Drive API using C#. Graduate Teaching Assistant at RIT, Rochester, NY Jan 2017 - May 2017
• Teaching Assistant for Network Planning and Design (TCET - 760) and Next Generation Networks (TCET - 747).
• Developed and simulated Software Defined Networks on Mininet and OpenDaylight, guided students in replicating the simulations. Verified QoS parameters like latency, bandwidth and throughput on these networks. Intern at Analog Devices India, Bangalore, India Jun 2016 - Aug 2016
• Tested the working of Media Local Bus, an on-PCB, Inter-Chip Communication Bus for MOST® Based Devices.
• Performed tests on the ADSP-SC573 and SC589 SHARC+TM dual core and ARM® Cortex-A5TM processor core and examined them on an MLB Testbench, with different voltages applied to the board. Project Intern at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization)-ISAC, Bangalore, India Jan 2015 - May 2015
• Analyzed different digital modulation techniques and filter designs for satellite communication. Conducted parameter tuning tests for optimal hyperparameters.
• Programmed an efficient FPGA (Virtex-5 FPGA) based modulator with a pre-modulation filter to reduce co-channel interference.
PROJECTS
Performance evaluation (QoS) of Voice over IPsec VPN and MPLS L3 VPN:
• Emulated a VoIP protocol on IPsec VPN (Site to Site tunneling) and MPLS L3 VPN on GNS3 Platform.
• Applied real time traffic over these two networks, comparing parameters such as Delay, Jitter, Bandwidth usage and Packet Loss. Used Wireshark for data capture and IPERF for testing. Analyzing QoS of Software Defined Networks:
• Created multiple network topologies on Mininet, an SDN simulator tool, using Python scripts to design the network.
• Generated traffic flows using Distributed Internet Traffic Generator (D-ITG) and IPERF, to compare topologies. Simulation Analysis of Network Topologies and Protocols:
• Simulated various network topologies on OPNET, and analyzed applications like Database Access, Email, FTP and HTTP.
• Visualized network traffic during various simulations through graphs to achieve optimal results. CERTIFICATIONS:
Cisco Certified Network Associate - Route and Switch (CCNA - R&S) Mar 2017 - Mar 2020
