DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform In Accordance with the standards of the CAP, JCAHO and AABB as applicable.

Perform day to day bench duties and act as the leader of workgroup within a division of laboratory

Assists the supervisor with the Quality Improvement data/files for monthly meeting.

Assists the supervisor for preparing the Schedule/ROTA of technical staff and supervise the work and performance of technical staff in the assigned bench.

Assist with needle biopsies.

Maintains adequate stock of material such as dry Ice, tissue boxes.

Processes freeze and store muscle appropriately.

Section and stains (routine and histochemical) tissue.
