●Industrial Hygiene monitoring for Hazards & Hazardous substances at the workplace and also Industrial Hygiene Surveys inside the plant / Battery area.

●As faculty organized regular training classes to the employees of the Refinery on occupational health hazards and their prevention. First Aid and treatment, Safety, Good housekeeping, TLV (Threshold Limit Value), PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), Environment & Pollution Control, Noise Pollution & Hearing conservation, Ergonomics, Toxicology, Poisoning, Snake Bite and First Aid.

●Counseling of employees & their wards on Personal Hygiene, Effects of Tobacco / Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, etc., lifestyle changes viz., Diet, Exercises, Mental relaxation / Meditation and development of positive attitude.

●To liaise with external agencies, local bodies like administration/panchayat/ pollution control board/referral hospitals

●Awareness classes on Personal Hygiene & Nutrition, on safety, first aid at home & school, On HIV & Other Communicable Diseases to the medicos, school children & school teachers, housewives/ladies club, canteen workers, housekeeping staff

●Promotion of Breast Feeding & Family Planning

●Worked for the certification of ISO 9002, ISO 14001 & BS 8800 & Rajiv Gandhi Quality award for the occupational Health Center, Mathura Refinery Hospital, IOCL and Schneider Electricals

●CSR commitment to social responsibility-

●Between 1988-1990 several rural health camps were organized by me in Villages surrounding Mathura Refinery

●Submitted Thesis / Dissertation to the Calcutta University on the Health Conditions of workers blending TEL (Tetra Ethyl Lead) in Petrol in Mathura Refinery in 1991

●Presented a paper on “Industrial Hygiene Programme at Mathura Refinery during Clinical meets 1997 at Mathura Refinery Hospital

●Academic and other health related activities -

●Assisted in Cancer awareness & Detection Camps, Cardiac Camps & Diabetic Camps, Eye Camps

●Given guidance / training on occupational Health Hazards, Environment and Toxicology to the University students (Agra).

●Taken active participation in Nation’s “Pulse Polio Programme”

●Partly contributed for the Disaster Management Manual of Mathura Refinery, IOCL
