Michael was an essential member of our company for over 14 years. He started with our company as a Sale Rep/Distributor, moved into Regional Distribution Manager at our San Diego office and eventually became our Circulation/Logistics manager. Michael was our 2 nd

highest

ranking employee in our Circulation department, next to our Circulation Director and V.P of Circulation, John Gutierrez. He evolved into his final position as a result of his character, work ethic, knowledge, judgment, job performance, and skill. Michael’s job was multi-faceted and primarily dealt with running our regional offices; logistics to and from those offices; and their distribution operations, but as second in command; he was also involved in the distribution at our main office as well. This entailed overseeing the full-service delivery personnel servicing of over 3,000 accounts in California and nationwide. Michael was also responsible for all our international accounts as well. Michael was also involved in sales development, client relations and often assisted in key administrative functions and systems development. As a sales rep during our expansion when we more than tripled our footprint; he was the trouble shooter in all our regional offices at that time; opening stores and then staying on to handle and resolve any problems that may have arisen.
