DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot all technological errors associated with application software and operating systems
- Configure and maintain computer workstations, printers and telecommunications equipment.
-Serve as the contact point, advocate, and information resource for patients and family/caregiver(s)
-Work with patients to plan and monitor care by assessing unmet health and social needs
-Develop emergency plan, medical summary and ongoing action plan when appropriate
-Provide timely communication, inquiry, follow-up and integration of information into patient’s chart for third party companies such as: durable medical equipment companies, insurance companies for prior authorizations regarding medications and radiology, referrals for sleep studies, holter monitors, oxygen, infusions, home health aides, physical therapy etc.

- 6 years’ experience in a clinical setting with proficiency in communication technologies
- ability to troubleshoot technological errors and create alternate, more efficient methods of
completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies which are often overlooked
- certified medical assistant, proficient in CPT codes, ICD 10 codes and medical terminology
- Software: Microsoft Office, eClinicalWorks, Physician Solutions, MedEvolve
- proficient in word processing tools and spreadsheets, including graphs and PowerPoint presentations
