My experience with AutoSys is monitoring, starting the system, and report how the system ran. I log on the system by keying the word gatekeeper and run the autosys_secure command. Next the eventor command (machine_name) starts the processor. And using commands chk_auto_up to verity connection to the DB and event processor and autoping -m machine command verity that both client & server are correctly configured.
