Worked as Senior Manager Operations at Forster Sports International, Sialkot Pakistan from March 1982 to Nov, 2005 (Before Moving to Canada)

Foster Sports International was a leading manufacturer and exporter of leather garments, gloves and other leather products. As manager operations I was responsible for:

Managing overall business while supervising a team of sixty-five employees to ensure successful and smooth manufacturing operations,

Promotion and development of exports to EU and the North American market,

Communication with overseas business contracts for promoting export sales and providing them with complete knowledge of product and design customization options,

Overseeing accounts, internal financial audits, business financing operations, handling of export related documentation, letter of credits, and tenders for imports and exports,

Traveling worldwide to enhance exports; attending seminars; and participation in foreign exhibitions and trade shows for business promotion.

Achievements:

Honored and elected as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Sialkot Pakistan from Sep 1999 to 2000

During my tenure as SVP, I also worked as Chairman Anti-Narcotics Committee (CANC), which focused on the welfare & education of addicted people in the Sialkot District Jail.

As SVP in SSCI, led delegations to European countries and actively represented SCCI in foreign trade shows. Moreover, effectively led the business community in holding dialogues with stakeholders such as foreign missions, trade representatives, European importers and government representatives to negotiate trade concessions and resolve trade disputes on behalf business community.

The Executive Member of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry twice from 1989 to 1993 and from 1997 to 2000.

Participated in foreign trade missions to represent SCCI. Organized friendly Cricket matches between SCCI team and foreign embassies in Pakistan including the British and the Australian Embassies.
