I am a tinkerer and problem solver. The challenge of finding a solution to problems thought impossible is what drives me. As a teen, I started with building my own CPUs piece-by-piece in my hometown, while providing IT support to the local high school that I attended. In college, I spent a year in IT/IS, studying FORTRAN, C, and C++. Afterward I shipped out with the Navy, where I served for two years working with the computer systems controlling radar and weapons systems. Returning home, I studied at Branford Hall, where I received a two-year degree in Computers & Network Technology before beginning my civilian career in IT.

I worked for All Tel for a decade. I entered the company as a Sr. Systems Engineer, and changed to the business model from Break-fix to Managed Services. Previously they had been waiting for clients to approach the business with issues; I moved the business to setup a subscription-based system, with continuous revenue and proactive service rather than reactive. Total business revenue doubled from my first year there to my second. This is where my experience with programming CRM, PSA, and RMM platforms began. In my seventh year with All Tel, I was promoted to CTO, where my focus switched from IT work to deciding which vertical markets to target, and which companies to collaborate with while maintaining oversight of our internal IT infrastructure and that of our customers.

Henderson was a company situated in Hartford, CT. In the IT department, we used an old tape array system to back up all of the company’s global data, and I was tasked with handling the process. Every morning Iron Mountain a company specialized in transporting data (while armed) would come in to take the tapes to a secure location, and I handled the logistics. During this time I also acted as administrator over the company’s Lotus Notes email system, and monitored several other wealth-management programs that are now outdated.
