TITLE- FABRICATION OF SOLAR REFRIGERATOR:

The project is to fabricate the refrigerator that doesn’t emit any harmful gases to the environment such as CFCs, HCFCs, Freon etc. These gases are harmful to the environment and destroys ozone layer. In order to bring a new variety of refrigerator that doesn’t emit gases we bought solar refrigerator. This solar refrigerator has many advantages such as it is portable, does not require electric current since it runs on solar energy and it costs less than normal refrigerator. The refrigerator runs by the principle “Peltier effect”. It is defined as when electricity is passed through the plate one side becomes hotter and another side becomes colder. This is the major principle involved in fabrication of solar refrigerator. MINOR PROJECT:

TITLE- FABRICATION OF SUB MARINE VALVES :

The project is to fabricate the hydraulic valves that are used in submarines and navy ships. The projectis done in the company by name “VERTEX ENGINEERING SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED”. The valves can be manufactured by using diferent methods such as sand casting, investment casting etc. We used sand casting and investment casting method for the manufacturing of hydraulic valves. After the manufacturing of valves they are send for inspection process. The inspection is done by the process known as PMI (Positive material identification test) INDUSTRIAL VISITS:

undergone Industrial Visit at Bharat heavy electrical limited (BHEL) in Hyderabad. undergone Industrial Visit at Thrive solar energy in cherlaplly. Undergone Industrial Visit at Kothagudam thermal power station (KTPS) in Palwancha, Khammam district.

WORKSHOPS :

Attended a 3-day workshop on Ic-engines at IIT Hyderabad. Attended a 3-day workshop on Vedic at Aziznagar.
