How to install IIS in server 2008.

Click on the start than click on the server manger. Than will be appear a dialog box.

Click on the role than click

Add role > next > check box web server IIS install > next > next > next > next > install > wait few minutes > close > close How to create web site.

Go to administrator tool > internet information service IIS manger

> click on the computer name > right click on the site > click on the add web site > type the site name any > select web folder path > Select the site IP address > click on the ok.

Now you put web site file in web folder.

And open internet explore > type your website name and open. How to web site page add in IIS.

Open the internet information service IIS manger > click on the computer name > double click on the default document > go to action tab > click on the add > type the page name like:- index.html index.php, ram.html etx. Than ok.

How to configure window authentication.

Go to server manger > extend the role > right click on the IIS > click on the add role service > check box window authentication > next

> install > wait > close

Open the internet information IIS manger > click on the computer name > double click on the authentication > right click on the anonymous authentication and click disable > window authentication do enable.

Now you can access web user name site with and password. Note :- this is more secure service

How to configure URL Authorization.

Go to server manger > extend the role > right click on the IIS > click on the add role service > check box URL authentication > next > install > wait > close

Open the internet information IIS manger > click on the computer name > double click on the authentication rules > right click and add allow rule > click on the specified rules or user group. > type Group name exp. mange and click on ok.

Remove the all user roles.

Go to server manger > extend the role > right click on the IIS > click on the add role service > check box IP Address and Domain Restrictions > next > install > wait > close

Open the internet information IIS manger > click on the computer name > double click on the IP Address and Domain Restrictions > Right click and click add allow entry > type the ip address or ip address range . I am typing ip address like 192

.168.137.68 and ok. > disable the all authentication. This ip open web site only.

How to open web site with TCP port.

Open the internet information IIS manger > click on the computer name > right click on the site > click on the add web site > type the any name >select the web folder > select the ip address than click on the ok.

Again right click on the site > click on the add web site > type the any name >select the web folder > select the ip address and type port any like 1200 than type in host name like www.hack.com > click on the ok.

open internet explore type ip 192.168.0.1 or hack.com than enter now your web site will be open.

Again type address 192.168.0.1:1200 or hack.com:1200 Now you web site will be open with tcp port.

In this case you web site open only with ip.

Default gateway 10.10.10.225

Dns server 8.8.8.8

Now you go to client computer and configure the ip address Ip 10.10.10.any

Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
