Responsibilities

Development

Working with key stake holders from clients to gather requirements, architect and deliver the solution

Unit, System, Integration and Performance testing of the solutions implemented

Majority of the development was done using COBOL & DB2, PL1 Mainframe Deployment

Maintained and supported 13 mainframe environments.

Deployment of the environments to facilitate monthly release testing.

Code deployment and data setup across all 13 regions. o This includes JCLs, Loadlibs, Bind, Files, WSDL, CICS online programs, online load refresh (new copy), pipeline refresh.

Well versed in generating the provider WSDLs/requester copybook using batch utility and refreshing the CICS pipelines.

Used TSO/ISPF utilities to create and Maintain PDS, PS, etc. and to monitor Spools and migrate files between different LPARs.

Database Management

Involved in data copy across all the non-production environments - Data copy involves copying the data from production to lower environments using various IBM utilities such as Optim utility, DSNUTILB, IKJEFT01. Post data copy masked the sensitive data such as bank info and customer details.
