this was the facility statistics and not our contractor group).

SITE SAFETY MANAGER
Company primarily did work involving valve and piping replacement, - CSV’s, Move’s, Rov’s etc.
In addition did some structural steel erection in regards to the expansion.
Lead Safety Coordinator for expansion projects at Equistar Channelview facility prior to
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita -2005.
Finished the project without any Osha Recordables – project peaked at 500 personnel.
Was re-assigned to Lyondell-CITGO Pasadena Facility as Lead Safety Coordinator over Night Shift for Catalyst cracking unit re-build after failed unit re-start following hurricane Rita 2005.
The subsequent fire and explosions of the failed re-start flash burned (9) floors of the unit and damaged (3) other units.

SITE SAFETY MANAGER - Continued:
Finished the Lyondell – CITGO project without an Osha Recordable after I was assigned to the project. The project did sustain (2) Recordable incidents prior to my assignment, which led to the previous management team being removed from the project.
At both sites I had a safety staff assigned under my direction.
This was short duration- contract type work – shutdowns, turn-arounds, etc.
Moved to another company after my project was within days of finishing and I was scheduled to receive a reduction in force after project completion.
Protherm Services Group, L.L.C. December 2002-June 2005
Company primarily did Industrial as well as some Commercial Asbestos abatement, Industrial Insulation, Industrial Scaffolding, Industrial Lead abatement, Industrial coatings and linings.

Safety Manager over a District which had “20”, on-going, long-term maintenance projects, aside from small construction projects that came about.

Site Safety Manager
Over safety department for the Hercules construction project at ExxonMobil Chemical, in Baytown, TX.
Project lasted for an entire year, achieved 936,000 man-hours, with a Total Recordable Incident Rate of “0”, and “peaked” at 600 personnel assigned to the site for Protherm.
Supervised “6” Safety Supervisor’s assigned to the project.
I was promoted to the Pasadena District Safety Coordinator position in January 2003, and placed second in charge of the district’s safety department. I from here, reported directly to the District Safety Manager.
Basic Industries, Inc 1997 – 2002 December
Company primarily did Industrial, as well as Commercial asbestos abatement, lead abatement, coatings, fireproofing, insulation, refractory, scaffolding, and mold remediation.
Corporate Safety Coordinator – Western Division
Head of Safety Department of the Branch office that controlled the companies Western Division. This encompassed four States, and four branch offices, all reporting to my branch.
There were (3400) employees in the Western Division
Supervised 16 different safety supervisors from 16 different projects, in the Houston area alone.
Frequently inspected and assisted (7) “Public Services of Oklahoma”, Power Generation facility Maintenance projects, for safety compliancy.
Completely revised the company training program and developed it into a computer-based program.
Completely revised the company’s pre-employment physicals for new-hires.

Safety Supervisor/Field Inspector
Over two large maintenance projects simultaneously in six different Oxy Vinyl Facilities.
Both projects achieved (2) years without an OSHA Recordable injury, and 450,000.00 man-hours each.
On two separate occasions assisted with OSHA VPP audits to get the facility OSHA Star certified for which our maintenance projects were assigned to.
I was promoted to the Houston Branch Safety Coordinator over the safety department for the Western Division in November of 1999, after my boss left the company.

Assigned to a large construction project, building a new Ethylene unit in the Mobil Chemical Beaumont, Texas Facility.
The project achieved 385,000.00 man-hours over a (2) year period with no OSHA Recordable injuries.
Work became slow once again, and I was recommended to a friend of my boss, by my boss, who was the Safety Manager of a competitor company. I moved to Basic Industries from here.

Company primarily did refractory: Industrial insulation, coatings, and fireproofing work.
