MAJOR COMMITTEES
Emergency Department Shared Governance Committee (2010-2014)
The focus of this council is to promote employee unit cohesion while addressing concerns, opportunities for growth and development of staff. Additionally, community outreach through the area by handing out water bottles in the summer around the hospital, as well as hats, scarves, and gloves in the winter. Clothing drives for people who may be trauma patients or have nothing suitable to wear so they were able to leave the hospital in appropriate apparel.
Pediatric Quality Improvement Committee (2010-2014)
The focus of this committee was to improve quality by promoting health and wellbeing of all children seen in the emergency department. Utilizing the quality improvement (QI) tool, the committee would review pediatric practice in order to improve current knowledge and improve outcomes of the pediatric population seen in the emergency department. The goal of this committee was to give every child the right care every time.
