Responsible for the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of all heating and air conditioning, laundry and kitchen equipment, carpentry, paint, pool and spa equipment, chemical inspections of pools, monitoring and systems diagnostics of equipment and maintenance of life safety systems, and overall safety and security of guest and associates; follow all federal, state and local laws, codes, and regulations as it relates to hotel, guests and associates.

Duties: Oversee property maintenance and renovations, forecast and maintain budget, cost and inventory control, supervise property engineers and maintenance, personnel and task assignments, hire, train, coach, perform job reviews, payroll, accounts setup, submit invoices, maintain records of inspections, oversee equipment preventive maintenance. Responsible for the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of all heating and air conditioning, chillers, laundry and kitchen equipment, carpentry, paint, pool and spa equipment, chemical inspections of pools, monitoring and systems diagnostics of equipment and maintenance of life safety systems, safety and security of guest and associates, implementation of emergency procedures (fire, sever weather, bomb threats, guest accidents, etc.).

Position: Director of Property Operations

August 2007 to September 2012: Hilton Clearwater Beach - Clearwater Beach, Florida, 416 rooms,

Duties: Responsible for the proper operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of all heating and air conditioning, laundry and kitchen equipment, carpentry, paint, pool and spa equipment, chemical inspections of pools, monitoring and systems diagnostics of equipment, maintenance of life safety systems, and overall safety and security of guest and associates. Oversee major property renovation, capital improvement projects, cost and inventory control, scheduling, personnel and task assignments, hire, train, coach, counsel, payroll, conduct performance reviews, budget, submit invoices, maintain records of inspections, and equipment pm’s. Assist in obtaining a Green Lodging Palm 1 certification from the state of Florida.
