MINI PROJECT:
Project title: Bluetooth controlled LED system using Arduino
Description:
To control the LED lights connected to the Ardino board by using the Bluetooth (HC-05) module. Bluetooth module is paired with the android device using a software developed application on the smart phone with the help of the Bluetooth. Through this Smartphone application and the paired module of Bluetooth and aurdino the switching on and off LED is operated.HC 05 works on the serial communication. Here, The android App is designed sending serial data to the Bluetooth Module at the Other end receive the data and send to arduino through TX pin of Bluetooth module(RX pin of arduino).
The code fed to arduino checks the received data and compares. If received data is 1 the LED turns OFF
when the received data is 0.
MAJOR PROJECT:
Project title: SERVING ROBOT
Description:
The implementation details of a serving robot which can be used to serve food in a restaurants or in an office environment. In a party environment, the robot is made to operate in wander mode where it moves around avoiding obstacles and serving food whenever it is stopped by the approaching guests. In an office or restaurants environment, the robot follows a pre-defined path marked on the floor and stops to serving whenever it detects approaching hands. It can be operated in a human-following mode. Where it follows a person walking in front of the robot. This mode is useful in guiding a robot to a new location. It primarily uses two cameras for accomplishing most of the tasks and uses SONAR to avoid obstacles. The algorithms are developed using open source software like ROS, OpenCV, and OpenNI etc. The performances of the individual modules are analyzed to show the efficacy of the approach.
