I am MSN and Registered Nurse in Puerto Rico. I am seeking a permanent position in any shift or area to demonstrate the knowledge, skills that I have acquire in my privies experience. Nursing Professor

Teaching course: Laboratory of Nursing Fundamentals and Pediatric Nursing for License Practical Nurse. Teaching the basic skills of nursing that allow you to carry out activities during the course and future experiences. Providing my student with skills of Nursing Fundamentals: hand washing (aseptic and surgical), use of protective equipment and sterile handling (universal precautions), Vital signs (taking and documentation), Body alignment (change of patient’s position, transfer of the patient and body mechanics of the nursing professional), arrangement of the unit, patient hygiene (bath in bed, placement and removal of the flat measurement and emptying Foley bag), Patient feeding by mouth, nasogastric tube and gastrostomy and nursing process (care plan). Teaching course skills of Pediatric Nursing: Vital signs, Physical Exam, Bath of infant, Medicine Administration (intramuscular, IV, and by mouth, Placement of urine collector and Foley, Blood extraction and Canalization. I was responsible for over10 students.

I gave care and intervened pediatric patients. My responsibilities included diagnostic, canalization of vein, blood extraction for samples, medicine administration, blood transfusion, reporting changes in electronic record, educating patient and families of treatment and medications, execute medical orders, work under pressure.
