EXPERIENCE
Concentra, Addison, TX Project Coordinator
October 2016 - Present
In my position as a Project Coordinator, I am responsible for leading various site buildouts. These ranged from complete renovations to complete relocations. My goal is to build a relationship with the onsite staff in order to fulfill their IT needs in order to better serve patients. This meant travelling to several sites across the country, and supervising installations with our installation vendors.
Concentra, Addison, TX Senior Support Analyst / NOC Technician
October 2014 – 2016
As a NOC Technician I was responsible for the proactive monitoring and fault ownership of Managed Services as well as monitoring core systems and network. Monitoring tools used included Solarwinds and What’s Up Gold. I also pulled tapes for outbound backup to Iron Mountain.
As a Sr. Analyst I was responsible for training new staff members, as well updating the team knowledgebase and SharePoint and outlining new support protocols and procedures for support staff to follow. I also handled escalations from 1st/2nd line support staff, taking over issues that required more in depth knowledge by analyzing log and performance data to discover the root cause of failures.
I took the lead on many of the projects that our department were handed. I was the first point of contact on all digital x-ray, single sign on, hardware upgrade and software upgrade projects. This included working directly with vendors and center Operations Directors.
Concentra, Addison, TX Project Coordinator (P3 Lite Upgrade)
October 2014 – September 2015
As a Project Coordinator for Concentra’s company-wide P3 Lite upgrade, I organized and scheduled onsite vendor visits with Concentra clinics to insure that project goals were met. I also led bi-weekly meetings to coordinate visitation dates and verification that all work was being completed on time and correctly and kept the project manager updated on project status. My assistance helped save the company over a million dollars.
I was also the main point of contact for Concentra clinics for technical issues. This included pushing images to systems, getting wireless access points setup for clinicians, getting all systems moved to correct OU in Active Directory and making sure all work was done satisfactorily.
Concentra, Addison, TX Project Coordinator (Digital X-Ray Upgrade)
June 2013 – January 2014
I was the main point of contact in charge of setting up new digital x-ray machines by configuring the local gateway, making sure DICOM communication was working as well as encrypting the CR’s used in the x-ray process. I also assigned static IP addresses to each machine according to scope. The machines were encrypted using Mcafee Endpoint Encryption. I also coordinated with onsite vendors to make sure systems were operating correctly and all work was done within expectations.
Concentra, Addison, TX Analyst I
September 2011 – June 2013
Provided first level support for Rightfax, Avaya CMS, Lotus Notes, Cisco VPN, Array VPN, Office Suite and Active Directory issues by diagnosing issues and determining the root cause of failures.
I helped train new staff members, and worked with User Administration to make sure all access was ready for new employees.
I was the main point of contact for software purchased through the company software portal. This included installing and configuring Visual Basic 2005-2012 and SQL Server.
State Farm Insurance, Irving, TX Analyst I
February 2010 – June 2011
Provided first level support for State Farm Agencies. Assisted users with DOS based programs and functions. Handled problems with Blackberry phones, VPN connectivity, Windows XP configurations and issues, installed printers and scanners.
Best Buy, Frisco, TX Geek Squad
August 2005 – May 2007
As part of the Geek Squad, I diagnosed issues leading to the recovery of computer systems. I also advised customers on best practices to keep their machines functioning as well as advising on upgrade purchases.
In addition to my duties with the Geek Squad, I singlehandedly ran the shipping/receiving for items not repaired by the department. This included getting items ready for shipping and receiving returned items.
