IT Technical Architect

Solution design, infrastructure specification, implementation consultation and supervision that included two major client driven initiatives. Numerous North American data center consolidation and migrations/transformations and their related sub-projects along with a three phase Disaster Recovery solution, implementation and testing project. The client to which I was assigned, Zurich N.A. and Farmers Insurance, collectively had several major and a few minor data centers, most of which were successfully consolidated into a single primary shared CSC data center, for their primary business operations. An additional CSC data center was designed and built to support and serve as the client’s disaster recovery and main business continuance location. With over ten years of practical working experience within Farmers Insurance, and as a result, being quite familiar with many of the systems and the operating dynamics therein, placed me in a unique position of value, for such an important and critical role within CSC. Working closely with the various teams and coordinating the client’s IT and business resources, CSC IT Engineering and Architecture resources, and with both the Vendors and the VARs, to complete these major projects, was indeed a prerequisite to do the required work and an excellent formula for success.
