restorer. A new control technique is proposed to control the capacitor- supported DVR. The control of a dynamic voltage restorer is demonstrated with a reduced rating voltage source converter. The voltage is estimated using tje unit vectors. The synchronous frame theory is used for conversion of voltage from rotating vectors to stationary frame. The compensating of voltage sag, voltage swell and harmonics is demonstrated using a reduced rating dynamic voltage restorer (DVR).

In distribution networks varying loads are cause to develop changes in voltages and currents. If it is abnormal conditions (sudden faults) are cause damage to the sensitive and highly effective equipment. These voltagw fluctuations can be controlled by Dynamic Voltage Restorer.
