One of the key offerings of ReThinkIT is Cloud Services. As part of my internship, my contribution to the organization’s key revenue stream was to design and implement a scripting solution to easily migrate MS Office accounts from OnPrem to Cloud

(Office 365).

Additionally, over the course of this engagement,

● Built an Office 365 user monitoring and reporting tool using PowerShell that extracted license and metadata information about users and sent activity notifications and alerts to key stakeholders.

● Explored alternatives and recommended the optimum DLP (Data Loss Prevention) suites and network monitoring system, assisted in the rollout of the solution on client site.

● Day to day interaction with the clients to provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support (including on site). ReThinkIT continues to utilize these solutions for their clients Penn State Computer Science Department (University Park, PA) August 2017 – May 2018 Learning Assistant

The current teaching method for “Introduction to Programming” Level 100 course is web-based. The university offers to extend the learning opportunity for students through active classroom/ office hours/lab sessions delivered by the learning assistant. As part of the role,

● Helped students with coding/programming related to Python, and basic Linux.

● Clarified key concepts and fundamentals of the topics covered in the course. Grader

In 3rd Year, I was provided the opportunity to assist the professor in “Introduction to Systems Programming” a Level 300 course. The key responsibility of the assignment was:

● Helped the professor grade C99 projects, exams and make online quizzes.

● As part of process simplification, I took the initiative to develop a Linux Bash script to auto-grade student assignments. This reduced time spent on grading by 75%. This is currently in use at PSU and there is an opportunity to scale this framework with some enhancements to other courses in the future. This assignment helped me gain good experience in debugging code and give actionable feedback to students. Infosys (New Delhi, India) July 2016 – August 2016 Technical Intern

Infosys branch office managing the income-tax website were looking to migrate from legacy JDB systems into more recent technologies. My role as part of the team was to investigate and provide options on technologies available, technical specifications and transformation timeframes.
